Tester Victory Fund

Contributions or gifts to Tester Victory Fund are not tax deductible.

Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.

Paid for by Tester Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee authorized by Montanans for Tester, the Montana Democratic Party, and the DSCC.

The first $6,600 of each contribution from a person will be allocated to Montanans for Tester. The first $3,300 will be designated for use in the primary election, and the remaining $3,300 will be designated for use in the general election.

The next $10,000 of each contribution from a person and the first $5,000 from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to the Montana Democratic Party.

The next $41,300 of each contribution from a person and the next $15,000 from a PAC will be allocated to the DSCC. All contributions in excess of these amounts, up to the legal limits, will be allocated to the DSCC’s headquarters fund and/or legal defense fund.

A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution.
