CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Kristin Lyerly is running to represent Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Kristin is a sixth-generation Wisconsinite, OB/GYN physician, and champion for our planet and communities. As a doctor, she understands the link between environmental factors and public health. She has worked with medical students at the Medical College of Wisconsin-Green Bay and is an active and award winning member with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG)
She has a background in public health and worked with pro-environment groups such as Healthy Climate Wisconsin. In 2020, she ran for Wisconsin State Assembly and was endorsed by Wisconsin Conservation Voters (WCV).
