Candidate Background
Representative Katherine Clark is running for a sixth term to represent Massachusetts’ 5th congressional district. Clark previously served in the Massachusetts state House and Senate. She is a member of the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition, Safe Climate Caucus, and the Bicameral Task Force on Climate Change. She has cosponsored many pieces of legislation that would increase the development of clean energy. In addition, she has supported increased protections for Utah’s Red Rock Wilderness and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. In Congress, Clark will continue to be a champion for the environment and addressing the climate crisis. Representative Clark has earned a 97% lifetime score on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard.
