CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Don Davis is running for a second term to represent North Carolina’s 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He is a veteran, educator, minister, and dedicated public servant. He attended the United States Air Force Academy, and was commissioned into the Air Force where he served for 8 years. He then went on to become the Mayor of Snow Hill and later served for six terms as a North Carolina State Senator. In Congress, he will continue to advocate for air and water protections against pollution and will fight for eastern North Carolina's right to live in safe and healthy communities.
