CANDIDATE BACKGROUND 

Carl Marlinga is running to represent Michigan’s 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Carl Marlinga served for almost 40 years as the Macomb County Prosecutor, an Assistant US attorney, and most recently as a judge on the 16th Judicial Circuit Court and Probate Court.

As the Macomb County Prosecutor, he fought to protect Michigan’s national treasures and the Great Lakes are cleaner now because of some of those efforts. He is committed to strengthening the EPA and cleaning up Michigan's waters while in Congress.
