CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Bob Casey is currently serving his third term to represent Pennsylvania in the U.S. Senate. He previously served as the state Auditor General and Treasurer in Pennsylvania. While serving in the Senate, he has consistently fought for clean air and water and repeatedly voted to end taxpayer-funded subsidies to Big Oil and to extend tax incentives for clean, renewable energies. 

In the Senate, Bob Casey has delivered historic investments in clean energy and is a nationally recognized champion for workers, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and children. He also secured tens of millions of dollars in funding to reduce carbon emissions throughout Pennsylvania and for clean air and drinking water in urban centers like Philadelphia. He has earned a 94% lifetime score on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard. He will continue to advocate for protecting children’s health and clean air and water in Congress.
