Martin Heinrich

Martin Heinrich is currently serving his second term to represent New Mexico in the U.S. Senate. Heinrich previously served in the U.S. House. Heinrich has been a champion for clean energy and conservation in New Mexico, sponsoring legislation to modernize our energy infrastructure and reduce carbon pollution. He has been outspoken in his defense of the Clean Air Act and the EPA’s authority to combat climate change. In the Senate, he will continue to lead on public lands conservation issues in New Mexico. Senator Heinrich has earned a 93% lifetime score on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard.
