Jon Ossoff

Jon Ossoff is serving his first term representing Georgia in the U.S. Senate. Ossoff was born and raised in Northlake and received his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and his Master’s degree from the London School of Economics. He worked on Capitol Hill for U.S. Representatives Hank Johnson (GA-04) and John Lewis (GA-05), focusing on national security issues. In 2013, he became the managing partner and CEO of Insight TWI, a small investigative production company targeting corrupt public officials and organized crime for international news organizations. His company produced an investigative piece on the connection between political corruption and illegal logging in Sierra Leone that is threatening to destroy the country’s endangered forests within a decade. He is an ally in the fight to protect our air, water and natural resources for our children and all future generations. He is fighting to make Georgia a leader in clean energy. Senator Ossoff has earned an outstanding 98% lifetime score on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard.
