Representative Jacky Rosen is running for U.S. Senate representing Nevada. She is currently in her first term representing Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She has had a successful career as a computer programmer and software developer, and served as president of Congregation Ner Tamid, a large and prominent synagogue in Henderson. In this role, she worked closely with other community leaders, non-profits, and partner organizations to address issues facing working families and seniors, including education, health care, and economic security. Rosen is a strong supporter of clean energy in Nevada. As the leader of her congregation, she helped facilitate the installation solar panels at Ner Tamid – the largest solar energy project at a non-profit in Henderson – which will save the congregation money while providing many environmental benefits. She is also proponent of building sustainable communities that protect our health and environment and boost the economy. In the Senate, Rosen will continue to fight to make Nevada one of the premier places for research and development of renewal energy, particularly solar energy.
